For 2021 we have introduced some new categories for prizes:

  • The recorder who records the  highest number of macro-species from a reedbed / wetland site (as a percentage of the county total) will receive a 40w Rigid Trap donated by Watkins and Doncaster.
  • The recorder who records the highest number of macro-species from a non-reedbed / wetland site (as a percentage of the county total). This category has been sponsored by Celestron who have donated an Elements Thermotorch as a prize.
  • The recorder who records the highest number of macro-moth species trapped in a garden trap (as a percentage of county total). Richard Lewington has donated a 12" x 10" signed print of a Buff-tip as the prize for this category.
  • Photographic Competition.  We will be looking for photographs of moths trapped or which capture the spirit of Moth Night.  The winner will receive an Opticron Gallery Scope donated by Opticon.

We would like to extend our thanks to all of the above for supplying prizes for Moth Night.
