There are several prizes to be won by participating in Moth Night!

Five individual recorders and five event organisers will be selected at random for this prize sponsored by Bloomsbury Publishing have donated three copies of Field Guide to Caterpillars, two copies of British & Irish Moths a Photographic Guide (3rd edition) and five copies of Concise Guide to the Moths of Great Britain & Ireland (2nd edition)
For 2021 we have introduced some new categories for prizes:

- The recorder who records the highest number of macro-species from a non-reedbed / wetland site (as a percentage of the county total). This category has been sponsored by Celestron who have donated an Elements Thermotorch as a prize.
- The recorder who records the highest number of macro-moth species trapped in a garden trap (as a percentage of county total). Richard Lewington has donated a 12" x 10" signed print of a Buff-tip as the prize for this category.
